Are you an electronics engineer looking for an exciting role developing a revolutionary technology?
We are a Bristol-based tech start-up, are looking for an Engineer to participate in development and bringing to market of the company’s revolutionary ultra-low-power technology. This will include taking electronics from concept, through prototypes, to test and documentation, as well as meeting with clients and responding to industry needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new company advancing pioneering near-zero-power sensing technology. This record-breaking technology is based on subthreshold integrated circuits that were developed at the University of Bristol. They have developed new nanowatt electronic circuits for a wide range of detectors. These provide extremely low power, always-on sensing whilst the main sensor electronics is fully powered down. The initial task is to adapt this technology to the needs of various markets, and to demonstrate it in the field.
The role is based in Bristol, UK. We are looking for an Engineer with a background in electronics to join our team to work in some of the following areas:
- Low-power analogue and digital circuit design
- Electronic hardware development (schematic and PCB design, test)
- Communications (RFID, WLAN)
- Housing design and rapid prototyping
- Client-facing requirements capture
- Running trials with clients
- Leading R&D contracts
You will enjoy the creation of new products and the breadth of responsibilities of a technology start-up company.
We are offering an excellent remuneration package of £37,000-£52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
