We are leading Asset & Facilities Management company based in Central Scotland providing services to Housing Associations, Councils and commercial organisations.

The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a multi trade team within dedicated time frames, customer focus is essential.

We require a bright, motivated and conscientious fabricator.. You will have your own fabrication workshop, primarily working on handrails and access fabrications, you will visit site take measurements , manufacture and install as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work from site visits and product drawings to assemble items as instructed
Fabricate the part by welding, cutting steel, drilling etc
Keep working area clean and tidy
Responsible for own PPE and ensure it is in working order
Be responsible for looking after your equipment and advising Manager when issues arise
Assisting colleagues within other areas of the company as the business needs require
To operate within and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy in all aspects of the role
To adhere to the processes and procedure laid down by the company to ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standard at all times.
Technical Skills and Experience Required

Very neat and precise welding
Working with 1mm – 6mm thickness brass/steel
Good Social Skills to deal directly with customers

Team player, prepared to support their colleagues to ensure team targets are met
Willingness to learn new skills
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Good communication skills

Based in Grangemouth, working Hours 8am-5pm Monday - Thur; 4pm Friday
